William Carlos Williams wrote that ‘it
is difficult to get the news from poems, yet men die miserably
every day for lack of what is found there’. We feel
that his words apply to all forms of art and so our gallery
is our attempt to ensure that none of us – in our
news-dominated culture of immediate gratification – will
experience that lack. And neither do we ever want to forget
that the artifacts of beauty and innovation and technical
skill are not only worthy of our time and contemplation,
but they are also imperative to our souls.
Gallery MODA specializes in finding
and exhibiting works by twentieth-century modern masters
and select contemporary artists. We continue to explore
many aspects of art from around the world, featuring artists
who, in our estimation, have produced notable work. Simply
stated, we show what we love.
Director Casey Stetler and the gallery’s
professional staff organize monthly exhibitions and events,
providing a forum for artists and collectors and the public
to experience art. We also produce extensive catalogues to
showcase important and exceptional works. The gallery’s
website permits viewers real-time access to new works in
inventory, exhibition information, essays, biographical details,
and bibliographic links for all of our artists. Additionally,
we advise museums, curators and private collectors on modern
and contemporary works in their collections and assist publishers
in organizing monographs and exhibitions. We offer a full
range of services for novice to established private, corporate
collectors, architects and designers.

and simply enjoys the exchange between audience and artifact.
We offer fine art, without pretense.
